About the role The Quality Assurance (QA) tester works with the development team to produce innovative and one of a kind immersive experiences. You will be responsible for assisting developers and engineers in documenting, testing, and organizing software bugs, hardware errors, and any relevant information that would impact a user experience upon release. What you'll do Work effectively in completing assigned QA tasks; test plan completion, provide feedback on features, investigative tasks, live-ops checks, ad hoc testing on new features in trying to break them! Ensure that all bugs are recorded in an efficient, complete and informative manner, either on the Scrum board or bug database Respond to development team’s request in line with the project e.g. providing more information for bugs, balancing, build installation, validating bugs Respond to support tickets internally in reproducing them and updating them with information for the dev team to fix. Qualifications Ability to work on-site at our Mount Dora, FL studio, with flexibility for frequent domestic travel to client locations as required. At least 6 months experience as a Quality Assurance position within the video/mobile games industry Experienced working on multi-platforms Extensive knowledge of bug databases and the workflow of a bug Written QA reports in a professional manor for QA Leads or senior management e.g. after test plan completion Used Excel & Google docs to write up test criteria to form test plans Awareness of the development cycle and key milestones Experienced of using SCRUM/Agile (not essential) While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to sit; walk; talk and hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, crawl, reach, and stretch. The employee is occasionally required to move around the office. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 lbs.
Responsibilities
