YOUR ROLE

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Quality Assurance Testing (QAT) Analyst to join IT Methods & Tools at Salling Group. The ideal candidate will have a passion for quality and a willingness to learn and grow within the role. Additionally, the candidate will play a leading role in defining, developing, and implementing a long-term test strategy for Salling Group IT Development & Support that aligns with our company’s overall goals and vision. This position is crucial in supporting our test strategy and processes across teams, leading to improved quality and efficiency in our IT solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Test Strategy and Roadmap

• Lead the definition, development and implementation of a long-term test strategy for Salling Group IT Development & Support, including Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM), as well as manual and automated testing approaches.
• Take ownership of testing within Salling Group IT Development & Support, providing support for test activities across various projects and teams.

• Continuously seek inspiration in the market for new and innovative test management solutions.Demonstrate eagerness to identify, learn and implement innovative testing methods and tools to enhance test processes.

KEY TASKS

• Ensure that testing activities effectively contribute to maintaining and improving the quality of IT deliverables.
• Manage and maintain testing tools such as Tricentis/Tosca for automated testing and RTM.
• Lead the day-to-day collaboration with the newly established IBM AMS Test Automation team, responsible for creating and maintaining test scripts in Tosca.
• Engage with teams to promote testing best practices and tools, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Monitor and report on testing activities and outcomes, providing insights for improvement.Work closely with the IT Methods & Tools Owner and other stakeholders.
