This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 500000 - Rs 1100000 (ie INR 5-11 LPA) Min Experience: 3 years Location: BANGALORE JobType: full-time We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with proven expertise in building robust automation frameworks, executing comprehensive test strategies, and ensuring high-quality releases across web, mobile, and API layers. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Python-based automation and cloud environments, with a focus on delivering reliable, scalable solutions in a fast-paced setting. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and leading automation frameworks. Implement and execute automation using tools such as Cucumber, Rest Assured, Playwright, Pytest, and Appium. Conduct API, UI, and mobile testing to validate functionality, performance, and reliability. Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins). Validate backend integrations and workflows involving Spring Boot, Retrofit, and shell scripts. Work within AWS or GCP environments to support testing and deployment. Track, document, and manage test progress, issues, and results using Jira/Asana and Confluence. Contribute to the design and enhancement of automation strategies, frameworks, and QA best practices. Test and validate systems integrated with OpenAI APIs or other AI-based third-party services. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. 3+ years of hands-on experience in QA Automation. Proficiency in Python and automation frameworks such as Cucumber, Rest Assured, Playwright, Pytest, and Appium. Working knowledge of Spring Boot, Retrofit, and shell scripting. Experience with AWS/GCP cloud platforms and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins). Familiarity with project and collaboration tools (Jira/Asana, Confluence). Exposure to OpenAI APIs or AI-based integrations is an advantage. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to thrive in cross-functional, agile environments.
