WE ARE SPECIFICALLY LOOKING FOR AN INDIVIDUAL WITH ‘HUMAN GRADE PET FOOD’ AS DEFINED BY AAFCO. (ASSOCIATION OF AMERICAN FEED CONTROL OFFICIALS).

Effectively identify, document, and communicate audit findings, assess risks, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
Conduct audits, gap analyses, and risk assessments; develop actionable recommendations and improvement plans aligned with regulatory and certification standards.
Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and maintain clear communication throughout all stages of the audit process—from planning through reporting.

EXPERIENCE

5+ years of experience in Food Safety or Quality Management in food and/or dietary supplement manufacturing.
Certified FSSC 22000 Lead Auditor or equivalent certification.
Completion of Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) training.
Experience with recall planning, hazard assessments, and relevant regulatory standards.
Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple audits and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills; proven ability to build trust with both clients and internal teams

As an Independent Contractor the Quality Auditor will travel to client locations or conduct remote audits and consultations for food and/or dietary supplement manufacturing facilities. Support hazard development, trainings/PCQI HF, report development.
