Grecotel Hotels & Resorts, the leading hotel chain in Greece, is seeking a Quality Auditor to join its team. As a Quality Auditor, you will be responsible for conducting regular and ad hoc inspections at the Group’s hotel units, aiming to ensure the implementation of internal standards of quality, hygiene, and safety. The role actively contributes to maintaining the Group’s reputation, enhancing the guest experience, and supporting the achievement of commercial objectives through quality and compliance. Responsibilities: Conduct on-site audits across all hotel operational departments (F&B, Housekeeping, Front Office, Maintenance, H&S, etc.). Evaluate compliance with the Group’s Internal Quality System and international standards (HACCP, ISO, Travelife, etc.). Identify deviations and provide documented recommendations / corrective actions (CAPA). Participate in the development and revision of procedures and audit tools within the quality system. Analyze findings, prepare reports, and communicate results to the Group Quality Assurance Manager. Support hotels during external inspections (certifications, health authorities, environmental audits). Participate in Guest Journey Audits to assess the guest experience. Utilize digital tools and platforms (e.g., GoAudits) for recording, analyzing, and monitoring findings. Conduct benchmarking against competition to identify best practices and propose improvements. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Quality Assurance, Food Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in an operational role (Operations / F&B / Quality) within a hotel environment. Certification or proven knowledge of HACCP, ISO 9001 / 22000, or related systems. Ability to conduct inspections based on audit plans and reporting standards. Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to produce clear and concise reports. Strong knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint) and audit/reporting software. Certification as an Internal Auditor in ISO or HACCP. Knowledge of environmental and sustainability standards (Travelife, ISO 14001, ISO 45001). Availability for frequent travel within Greece. Experience in a multi-property environment or hotel group. Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively across different organizational levels. Experience in luxury or lifestyle brands. Knowledge of GDPR and data privacy compliance. Experience in delivering training or coaching on quality-related topics. Number of completed audits according to the annual plan. Degree of compliance of hotel units with Group standards. Response time and quality of audit reporting. Contribution to the improvement of guest satisfaction and certification performance indicators. Number of training interventions resulting from audit findings. Organized and observant, with a strong sense of professional ethics. Discreet and objective in evaluations. Team-oriented and committed to continuous improvement. Able to turn findings into development opportunities rather than criticism. Capable of acting as a “business partner” to the hotels. Flexible and adaptable to different environments and cultures. Able to inspire trust and promote a culture of quality. Excellent command of Greek and English (both written and spoken).
