Our Butler, Pennsylvania location is currently hiring a Quality Auditor to support the quality needs of the Molding Department by evaluating parts and providing feedback and guidance on handling any quality concerns that may arise. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES: Perform daily inspection of product Audit/review inspections done by operators and provide follow up Perform process audits as directed by performance/quality system schedule Prepare daily non-conforming product list Maintain accurate records in QC Log; daily activities, problems, concerns Provide input and assist in development of new work instructions Assist with manufacturing operations as directed; press operation, packing Fork truck operation (required – will train) Learn documentation under ISO/IATF quality management systems Work safely in a manufacturing or plant setting Perform other duties as assigned Requirements Associate Degree in technical field or related work experience Experience in lean manufacturing environment preferred High school diploma or equivalent Basic math skills and attention to detail required Must be able to communicate effectively in person and in writing. Must be able to operate a forklift truck, which requires the use of arms and legs, they ability to get onto truck and depth perception to stack and/or move crates or other material. Must have finger dexterity and be able to see and hear. Must be able to climb and work from a ladder. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to wear/tolerate all PPE equipment; safety shoes, ear plugs and safety glasses. Must be able to come to work as scheduled on a regular basis and be able to work scheduled shifts as necessary, including overtime, mandatory and otherwise.
