Specific Responsibilities:

  • Inspecting products and associated documentation to applicable standards, specifications, and procedures.
  • Documenting inspection results including communication of nonconformances.
  • Releasing products for customer shipments including creating certificate of conformance and compiling required documentation for the customer.
  • Filing and archiving records as defined by operating procedures.
  • Supporting Production Team Leaders in ensuring that priorities are completed.
  • Support Improvement Team activities – e.g., LEAN, 5S activities.
  • Assisting other Quality Auditors as needed by the business.
  • Assisting Operators and Test Technicians as needed by the business.

Summary:
The role reports to the Quality Supervisor and will carry out inspection and auditing duties within the company as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
The Quality Auditor is accountable for the In-Process, Incoming Inspection and Outgoing Inspections to which he / she has been assigned for that period.

Preferable Qualifications & Skills:

  • Working experience from electronics manufacturing industries and relevant inspection standards – e.g., IPC-A-610.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and operating procedures.
  • Good Communication skills.
  • Positive, flexible approach, able to prioritise workload and see tasks through to completion.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills with proven ability to manage time effectively.
