Description
The Quality Calibration & Warranties Technician will provide technical support to the Quality department by managing calibration systems, warranty claims, and documentation control. In this function, you will: Calibration Management Maintain and update the calibration database. Identify items due for calibration and coordinate services. Monitor and follow up on calibration-related purchase orders. Warranty Claims Administration Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of claims. Open Quality Alerts to notify personnel about the claim issue. Maintain accurate records of warranty activities and generate reports as needed. Quality Reports 1. Collect, process, and publish quality reports related to the manufacturing processes. 2. Prepare and distribute status reports, as required, of centralized records. 1. Attend all Safety, Health, and Environmental training, as assigned. 2. 3. 4. Non-compliance with safety procedures may result in minor accidents and/or injuries depending on the function. High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) from an accredited institution. Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Prior Technical writing experience. Minimum of 3 years manufacturing, production, or military experience OR a degree in a technical discipline. No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within 50 miles of El Paso, TX will be considered for this position. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Prior experience in calibration systems and warranty claim processing or Technical Writer position in a manufacturing environment. Working knowledge of Lean concepts. Associate degree in engineering. Knowledge of ENOVIA (Drawings), WISPER, Electronic Warranty Claim System (EWCS) systems.
