Description

The inspector performs inspections on rebar, form, concrete, earthwork, and structural steel throughout the site to ensure that the quality of work adheres to project specifications and governing codes. They must possess knowledge of concrete, rebar, underground activities, foundation, structural and construction materials, and processes used for each activity. All inspection activities must be documented on the appropriate forms, Inspection and Test Records (ITRs,) or other media approved by the project's ITP or SOP for validation.

Responsibilities

Perform quality inspections on rebar, concrete, earthwork, and structural steel to ensure adherence to project specifications and governing codes. Document all inspection activities using approved forms, Inspection and Test Records (ITRs), and standard operating procedures.
