JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Compliance Engineer to oversee our Military Aviation Authority (MAA) quality assurance processes and ensure compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in aviation quality management, with the ability to implement effective quality control measures.

Responsibilities
  • Establishing, administering and maintaining the quality inputs to the QMS system.
  • Advising the Managing Director of the performance of and required improvements to the QMS.
  • Acting as the Quality Point of Contact for all MOD Contract customers and staff and promoting customer focused approach across the company’s Core Business processes.
  • Carrying out an independent audit of compliance against all current and future Company Approvals.
  • Writing and compiling all MOD Contract quality documentation for the Managing Director’s approval including the development of the QMS and its associated processes and procedures.
  • Drafting and coordinating the expositions for all MOD approvals, including conferring with the MOD surveyor during the approvals process, and ensuring that all company operations remain compliant with overriding regulations.
  • Reviewing and responding to the recommendations of all external MOD Contracts audits by development of an agreed Corrective Action Plan.
  • Contribution to Management Reviews and the associated reporting and follow-up action.
  • Notifying relevant customers of any changes within ARCo that could impinge on the quality of the service provided or the QMS in general.
  • Collating customer feedback from MOD Contract customers for trending and reporting at the QMS review Meeting.
  • Co-ordinating MAOS Internal Quality Audits.
  • Co-ordinating the external audit of suppliers and contractors.
  • Issuing and co-ordinating Corrective/Preventive Action Reports (CPARs) related to MOD Contracts.
  • Updating the Quality Occurrence Log.
  • Conducting reviews of MAOS personnel records of training and experience, including Competency Assessments, OJT and Continuation Training. Issuing authorisations in response to recommendations from the Accountable Manager and/or Hangar MOD Project Manager on the conferring of authorisations and privileges, coordinating the Company Authorisation and Training records.
  • Undertaking the Quality Management Provisions promulgated in the, MAA MRP Part 145 Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE).
  • Attending MOD Contract Progress Meetings as the Organisations Quality representative.
