We currently support over 300 Service Users (SUs) across Norwich, South Norfolk, West Norfolk, and North Norfolk, with a dedicated team of 160+ staff — a number expected to grow in the coming weeks.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Monitoring Officer to oversee and enhance the quality of care delivered across our domiciliary care services. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring service standards, conducting audits, and supporting continuous improvement to ensure compliance with CQC regulations and internal policies.   • Experience in a quality assurance or supervisory role within health or social care.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and care standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and care management systems
Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Compliance:

  • Conduct regular audits of care plans, medication records, staff files, and service delivery.
  • Monitor compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding protocols, and company policies.
  • Identify areas for improvement and support the implementation of corrective actions.

_ Reporting & Documentation: _

  • Produce detailed quality reports with findings, recommendations, and follow-up actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of audits, inspections, and quality checks.
  • Track trends and recurring issues to inform training and development needs.

_ Service Improvement: _

  • Work closely with care teams to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Support the development and review of policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Participate in service user feedback initiatives and incorporate findings into quality plans.

Training & Support:

  • Provide guidance and support to staff on quality standards and documentation.
  • Assist in delivering training sessions related to compliance and quality assurance.
  • Support new staff inductions with a focus on quality expectations.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • NVQ Level 3 or above in Health & Social Care (Level 5 desirable).
  • Experience in a quality assurance or supervisory role within health or social care.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and care standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
