General Description: This is a full-time, office position at GMR’s headquarters in Heath, TX. The position is on the Center of Excellence team and will report to the Center of Excellence Manager. The Quality Control Analyst serves an essential role at GMR by performing the processes needed to ensure that our best quality work is provided to GMR customers. We ensure high-quality products by reviewing the fieldwork and deliverables completed by GMR and then applying our internal quality control processes. The position has daily/weekly/monthly responsibilities of performing processing needs for the Center of Excellence team, in addition to various project support and daytime inspection quality control functions. This position is responsible for working within defined due dates for report completion and must have the flexibility to reprioritize, as necessary. Requirements Duties/Responsibilities: Follow step-by-step processes to provide detailed reporting derived of a custom database. Work within a team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines. Perform quality checks from drawing versions of site visits. Proof work submitted by FIS team members and provide feedback on items needing additional training or support. Process Full Survey Reports through to customer readiness. Process Special Incident Surveys. Perform quality checks of design products like lighting designs and as-built documents. Provide communication to internal groups to answer questions through various communication methods. Provide support to internal groups by creating documentation and sample documents. Employees are expected to complete all required company trainings and assigned administrative tasks accurately and on time. This includes compliance-related learning, documentation updates, and participation in initiatives that support company policies and operational effectiveness. Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to maintain strict confidentiality. Careful attention to detail. Must be able to be on time for work and maintain a good attendance record. Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment. Able to self-manage workload and be efficient with work requirements. Ability to follow detailed processes and perform repetitious job responsibilities accurately. Ability to learn and follow GMR’s internal processes for providing quality work. Ability to communicate professionally in a clear and concise manner, both verbally and in writing. Ability to work regular office hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday). Ability to learn and gain a thorough understanding of GMR’s Phoenix proprietary database. Thorough understanding and representation of GMR’s culture and core values of Integrity, Faith, Enthusiasm, Impact and Excellence. Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED required. At least 2 years’ experience working in an office environment. Experience with Microsoft Office (including Visio, Excel and Outlook) preferred. Experience with Phoenix, Smartsheet, Adobe, Nitro PDF, and online mapping/photograph software would a plus. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times.
