Description

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Reclamation & Quality Control Analyst to play a critical role in our supply chain and quality assurance operations. This individual will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of defective material returns, from intake and analysis to vendor repair coordination and reintegration into inventory. The ideal candidate will be a master of organization, adept at inventory management, and passionate about continuous improvement to ensure the highest levels of quality and efficiency.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Manage and maintain schedules for material requirements to support the timely flow of repaired products.
  • Perform a variety of reclamation functions including counting, verifying, and documenting all defective material received, adhering to standard process and safety procedures.
  • Maintain property management of all production/GFE Hardware and manage backlog and schedules to meet tight customer demands.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal customers, ensuring defective hardware is prioritized and processed according to specific requirements.
  • Meticulously manage all associated paperwork, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Process Return Material Authorizations (RMAs), create purchase requisitions, and coordinate the timely placement of purchase orders.
  • Prepare, pack, and ship assets, using appropriate methods to handle ESD-sensitive and other critical hardware.
  • Track the status of defective assets at vendor locations and expedite repaired assets from dock to stock for open backorders.
  • Identify and prevent supplier disruptions; use knowledge of production, procurement, and engineering to alert stakeholders of risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Status aged Work in Progress (WIP) per MMAS requirements and maintain summary reports for distribution.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Proven experience in a similar role involving receiving shipments, reviewing documentation, verifying stock, and managing inventory.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident (as required for potential clearance eligibility).
  • Strong knowledge of return-to-vendor (RMA) processes for defective products.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively interface and communicate with multiple internal organizations and external vendors.
  • Experience with material-handling equipment and ESD-sensitive protocols.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel for reporting).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is a significant plus.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance is highly preferred.
  • Experience within an industrial, manufacturing, or defense production environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply planning, scheduling, and inventory management techniques to minimize backlog.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience reviewing field return data to support process and product improvements.
