AIM OF THE POSITION

Nielsen is looking for an enthusiastic Quality Control Assistant to join their team based in Hungary. Your role will focus on maintaining panel databases, analyzing data and creating reports; coordination and control of work performed by field technicians; contact with panel households; and supervision of our panel household data and quality control of databases.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is an advantage)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, as well as native Hungarian language skills
  • Previous experience in a business environment
  • Strong proficiency with database management software (e.g. Google Sheet, MS Excel etc.)
  • Experience with market research and/or Sociology skills are an advantage
  • Experience as a Data Processor is an advantage
  • Cooperative and supportive attitude
  • Curiosity and skepticism (if needed)
  • Detailed and precise workload management
  • Transparency, honesty, and confidentiality

Responsibilities
  • Contributing to data acquisition projects, managing sub-projects together with the Sample Manager
  • Daily telephone communication with technicians, documenting their assignments
  • Performing technical tests, analyzing data, escalating incoming data issues, creating reports and assigning correction tasks
  • Assisting the sample manager to maintain panel sample balance
  • Accurate management of documentation/records on a daily basis
