JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Manager to ensure our products consistently meet the high standards our customers expect. This role involves conducting inspections, maintaining records, and working closely with the operations team to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement.
As part of the Bayer Built team, you’ll play a key role in upholding our reputation for excellence in millwork products and service.

Responsibilities
  • Performing routine inspections of incoming, in-process, and finished millwork products.
  • Examining raw materials, components, and finished goods using measurement tools such as rulers, micrometers, calipers, and templates.
  • Auditing quality processes to ensure compliance with company standards and customer specifications.
  • Documenting findings and ensuring quality records are accurate, complete, and up to date.
  • Identifying defects and deviations from standards, and working with relevant teams to resolve issues.
  • Supporting root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for recurring quality issues.
  • Recording and maintaining data related to inspections, audits, and quality metrics.
  • Communicating clearly with production and operations staff to promote quality awareness.
  • Supporting internal audits and assisting in preparing documentation for external audits or inspections.
  • Contributing to process improvement initiatives; collaborating with team members on quality-related projects and improvements.
