What you’re applying for We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Contractor with a passion for plants and strong technical abilities to support our grow facility through weekly plant inspections and documentation. This part-time role requires approximately 8 hours of work per week and is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work in plant nurseries and greenhouses. In this role you'll be pivotal in shaping the future of home design Here's what you'll do: Document new batches of plants, including taking photos and maintaining detailed records. Conduct inspections of plant stock to identify signs of pests, diseases, or physical damage. Measure plants to ensure growth and size consistency according to company standards. Work closely with the QC Supervisor on additional quality control tasks as needed to maintain plant quality in line with company specifications. Requirements: Independent transportation to the facility - near Frederick, Maryland, United States. Strong technical skills for accurate measurement and keen observation to identify plant defects and issues. Horticulture or houseplant knowledge and experience are a plus. A BS or BA in a scientific field is a plus. Competent using digital tools, including forms and other software, for documentation. Schedule: One full day of on-site work per week, approximately 8 hours. Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience.
