JOB DESCRIPTION

• Maintain and organize Quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions and forms.
• Ensure that all documents are properly controlled, revised and distributed.Archive obsolete documents according to established procedures.
• Enter Quality data into databases and spreadsheets accurately and efficiently.
• Assist in the analysis of Quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Generate reports on Quality metrics as needed.
• Assist with incoming, in-process, and final inspections by preparing necessary documentation and tools.
• Record inspection results and maintain inspection records.
• Follow up on discrepancies and non-conformances.
• Follow up on corrective actions to ensure timely resolution of complaints.
• Assist with internal and external audits by preparing documentation and providing support to auditors.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned by the Quality Manager.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Demonstrated ability to use basic arithmetic, geometry and statistics.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret drawings and specifications, including a basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) concepts.
• Ability to read and interpret operating instructions and drawings.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Systems

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK CONDITIONS

Physical Demand: Sustained physical demand with continuous handling of average weight materials. Must be able to lift parts up to 45 pounds.
Working Conditions: Office environment with some exposure to a machining facility when on the shop floor

• High school diploma or G.E.D. required. Associates degree in a related field preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills, and ability to learn more advanced skills and software
