Kingston Construction is searching for a Quality Control Coordinator for a project at Westshore Terminals in Delta BC. The project involves the construction of cast-in-place concrete foundations, sumps, ditches and reservoirs, underground utilities ( wastewater, water, electrical, and dust suppression), asphalt paving and railway upgrades.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree/diploma in civil engineering, construction management, or related discipline
  • General knowledge of the construction specifications, methods and procedures
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Familiarity to Autodesk Construction Cloud is an asset
  • 3-5 year experience is an asset.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $70,000.00-$105,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Administer Kingston’s Quality Control Program as well as the Client’s quality expectations.
  • Review project drawings and perform field inspections.
  • Ensure work procedures and specifications are followed.
  • Record, compile, organize, and distribute quality control documentations such as ITP’s, quality control check sheets, test reports, mill certifications, etc.
  • Document and submit non-conformance reports.
  • Record, maintain, and distribute detailed as-build records
  • Draft and manage RFI’s.
  • Track submittal statuses.
  • Participate in weekly coordination meetings.
  • Draft and distribute daily and monthly site reports.
  • Work closely with project managers, site superintendents, client representatives, and subcontractors.
