We are currently looking to continue our focus on “Quality First” with the addition of a Quality Control Coordinator. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years’ experience in quality control with companies that manufacture tangible goods. Experience with metal fabrication, welding and electrical assembly is highly preferred.

SUMMATION OF JOB DESCRIPTION:

Completes, instructs and coordinates various assembly and quality control activities and assists with the application and monitoring of established inspection procedures and methods. Compiles, tabulates and summarizes inspection data for analysis and prepares analysis, charts or reports regarding deviations from prescribed quality standards. Assists in reviewing the manufacturing, assembly or work instructions for completeness, accuracy and comprehension by workers. Minimal supervision required for daily activities as job schedule dictates priority.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize existing forms accurately and completely to ensure 100% testing of all products.
  • Quality Control:
  • Quality control of all products in all product lines to Company standards. If not, communicate in written form to Supervisors to solve.
  • Check all products being manufactured daily. Empowered to reject any piece of equipment not to Company standards.
  • Quality control review of all in-coming materials and components.
  • Investigate ways of improving efficiency and adding quality to products.
  • Ensure product checklists and test records are completed properly and the forms themselves are correct.
  • Train employees in electrical assembly and quality expectations.
  • Trouble-shoot and solve problems occurring during final test of products. Engineering:
  • Interact and communicate with Engineering concerning existing product testing and assembly procedures.
  • Communicate with Engineering revisions to be made to documentation via ECR forms.
  • Review owner’s manuals for accuracy.
  • Maintain accuracy of schematics and wire harnesses.
  • Assist in troubleshooting returned components and/or products. R&D:
  • Assist in development of electrical assemblies for new products.
  • Recommend testing procedures for final testing of new products.
