Description Qualifications: • Understanding and use of the “hands-on” inspection equipment used for product verification (micrometers, calipers, comparators, height stands, etc.), accuracy (The 10% rule) and repeatability (Margin of error). • Has a minimum of 5 years’ experience or equivalent in a manufacturing environment performing product verification activities. • Good Communication and Reporting Skills. • Understands GD&T and the blueprint map, as it relates to product verification activities. • Can organize and prioritize job related duties and have the ability to work independently. Duties & Expectations: • Support final and receiving inspection requirements such as Visual/Dimensional verification of product. • Back up for ballooning/FAIR reporting/documentation support and copulation, as required during overload situations. • Manual setup verification activities other than Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM). • Repetitive inspection duties such as sorting - larger sample sizes. • Review of product in-process on the floor during fabrication. • Reporting out of tolerance conditions, assist with the investigation activities and communication to the shop floor. • Assist with gage R&R and Capability activities, as required. • Perform related tasks as assigned by the Director of Quality. • Maintain a positive attitude and punctuality. • Keep clean and organized work area. • Willing to work in a team environment. • Identify when applicable, continuous improvement of processes and understand the contribution to the effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS). • Aware of quality policies, procedures, objectives, contribution to conformance of product, safety and ethics.
