JOB SUMMARY

The Quality Control Inspector ensures products meet specifications outlined in blueprints while following company policies. This role offers opportunities for growth within the organization.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Basic knowledge of machine shop practices and safety.
  • Ability to read blueprints and interpret geometric tolerances.
  • 1–2 years of quality control experience in an ISO 9001-certified organization.
  • Familiarity with inspection tools and their calibration.
  • Experience in electronic documentation and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Preferred: Experience in electrical/mechanical assembly or manufacturing.

Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints to conduct visual and dimensional inspections of materials and parts.
  • Inspect incoming materials for compliance and reject non-conforming items.
  • Use tools like calipers, micrometers, and height gauges to inspect machined parts.
  • Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections of components.
  • Identify defects, report potential issues, and initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when needed.
  • Ensure no NCR items are shipped without proper authorization.
  • Document inspection results, track rework and waste, and manage tool calibrations.
  • Discuss findings with relevant teams and recommend corrective actions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned and assist in cross-training.
