This is a permanent, full time position for morning or afternoon shift with a small & fast paced CNC machine job shop near Pearson Airport. There is an opportunity to grow into a full-time position.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 5 years of quality control inspection experience in a machining or manufacturing environment
• Proficient with inspection equipment including height gauges, micrometers, pitch mics, bore gauges, and related tools
• Strong understanding of dimensional inspection practices and tolerances
• Ability to interpret GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) considered an asset
• Previous job shop experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills

• Inspect machined parts using a variety of manual inspection tools and gauges
• Perform in-process, receiving, and final inspections
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain records
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with other duties as assigned
