JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Quality Control and Pre-Delivery Inspector to join our team. This position deals exclusively with forklifts and related equipment and materials, and the QCI/PDI Inspector should have an active, working knowledge of this equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards and comply with relevant regulations within the warehouse and during preparation for shipment. This role involves conducting inspections, performing quality audits, and utilizing precision measuring instruments to assess product quality throughout the manufacturing process.

REQUIREMENTS

• Existing knowledge of forklifts and related systems and equipment is strongly preferred
• Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with inventory and sales software and other quality management systems is preferred.
• Strong understanding of local, state, and national inspection standards.
• Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
• Proficiency in using various precision measuring instruments and testing equipment.
• Experience with vision inspection systems is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

• Conduct thorough quality inspections of forklift equipment using various tools such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and national standards.
• Perform quality audits to identify areas for improvement in manufacturing processes and quality systems.
• Utilize coordinate measuring machines for precise measurements and data collection.
• Analyze inspection data to identify trends and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
• Collaborate with the manufacturing team to implement quality assurance protocols and maintain high-quality standards.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality control activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to QA/QC processes.
