Job Description: Inspect Perform in-process and final inspections in support of production activities Ensure that parts and components of aircraft and other aerospace equipment conform to the design specifications and meet industry standards Perform inspections of packaged items Perform receiving inspections Provide clarification to assembly personnel regarding inspection requirements Quality Initiate Non-Conformances (NC's) for failed material and components found during inspections Adhere to InterConnect Wiring's company policies and procedures Provide detailed and extensive feedback to supervisor pertaining to inspection and assembly issues Requirements Qualifications: High school diploma 2 years minimum experience in the Aerospace Industry Ability to stand or walk for up to 75% of the workday Desired Skills: Must be proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications, and the use of computer resources to access specifications, engineering, and communicate effectively with others with minimal assistance. Must be proficient at reading and comprehending engineering drawings Must be able to provide clarification pertaining to drawings, schematics, sketches, specifications and standards to assembly personnel and for the task of performing inspections. Must be self-motivated, able to make decisions and possess the ability to work without constant supervision oversight
Responsibilities
The inspector will perform in-process and final inspections to ensure aircraft and aerospace equipment parts conform to design specifications and industry standards, including inspecting packaged items and performing receiving inspections. This role also involves initiating Non-Conformances for failed materials and providing clarification to assembly personnel regarding inspection requirements.
