We have been manufacturing high-end kitchen cabinets for over 50 years and our innovative and superbly designed products have placed us at the forefront of the North American Kitchen Cabinetry Industry. Our primary focus is customer and employee satisfaction.
We’re currently looking for a Quality Control Inspector to add to our growing team. The successful candidate will possess an excellent understanding of Quality Control Inspection and related processes. This person will demonstrate a passion for maintaining quality standards by approving standard quality checks during the complete production process, reporting any deficiencies, proposing solutions, and implementing procedures to ensure standard operating processes are being followed to maintain quality production in a safe, and healthy environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2 years’ experience in Quality Control, preferably in the mill-work industry
  • Ability to read drawings and blueprints
  • Ability to use Quality measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing
  • Ability to learn new processes and assess with critical thinking
  • Experience with root cause analysis preferred
  • Excellent teamwork skills and leadership skills are preferred
  • Must have a keen eye for color matching and quality control
  • Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.

Responsibilities
  • Perform quality control inspections to identify all outstanding issues in production and order processing departments to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Ensure products meet project specifications as per the installation drawings and blueprints.
  • Work with responsible departments to make modifications required to ensure customer expectations are met.
  • Identify and report issues related to quality control that arise in the pre- and post-production processes. Quality issues found by yourself or a worker should be raised to the department manager
  • Approve all incoming and finished products by confirming specifications and conducting required tests. Collaborate with senior management as needed.
  • Return products for re-work if needed and complete documentation to confirm re-work tracking completion.
  • Document and update inspection results by completing reports and logs.
  • Follow all proper maintenance, sanitation, procedures and health and safety protocols at all times and ensure department members are as well.
  • Follow company health and safety procedures at all times.
  • Other duties as may be assigned
