JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Chemist to join our team in Payson, UT. This role involves analyzing samples for dietary and nutraceutical products, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and quality in all laboratory processes.
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access Database.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing demands.
• Strong math and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Perform sample analysis using HPLC, ICP-MS, GC, and wet chemistry techniques.
• Qualify instrumentation and manage equipment maintenance and validations.
• Ensure compliance with ISO17025:2005 Quality Management protocols.
• Conduct self-assessments and peer reviews of lab work before release.
• Investigate and prepare out-of-specification (OOS) reports using strong critical thinking.
• Contribute to corrective action reports (CAR) with root cause analysis strategies.
• Resolve testing/method issues through regular SOP reviews and updates.
• Write technical documents such as SOPs, calibration reports, validation reports, and audits.
