Quality Control Inspector - Night Shift - Friday to Sunday (6pm - 6am) Overview: We’re looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our weekend night shift team and support incoming inspection of molded and purchased parts. In this role, you’ll ensure components meet engineering and quality standards through precise inspection and documentation. You’ll play a key role in maintaining product integrity and supporting warehouse operations, with additional responsibilities in first article inspections (FAI) and cross-departmental support. Summary of Position: Responsible for inspecting plastic parts and components for defects, ensuring quality standards are met. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned): Responsible for pulling inspection samples, based on the predetermined frequency of inspection. Visually examine inspection samples for physical concerns, as outlined in the Standard Process Instructions. Document concerns within the Quality Advisement system and notify the necessary parties to ensure the concern is addressed in a timely manner. As necessary, aid in running containment for quality concerns. Utilize the Nonconformance system to place suspect parts on hold, until they can be reviewed for further disposition. Education and Skill Requirements: High school diploma or one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to carry out simple instructions and handle standardized situations with minimal variability. Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities, exhibit objectivity and openness to others' views, give and welcome feedback. Basic computer skills preferred. Effective communication skills with ability to collaborate well in group settings.
