Description Southern Foodservice Management, a national contact food service company, is now looking to hire a qualified Quality Control Inspector for our FLETC Artesia location in Artesia, New Mexico. We are looking for individuals who are committed to providing the best possible dining experience with a positive and respectful work environment. The pay range $28.38 plus $5.50 per hour health and welfare. The shifts are either early morning, day or afternoon, evening, night or overnight. This is 7 days a week operation- 40 hours a week Sunday through Saturday. Job Duties and Responsibilities The Quality Control inspector conducts inspections on quality control and safety plans to ensure compliance with Government contract specifications and applicable regulations Inspects all phases of a variety of goods, services and operation for conformity to established quality, health and safety, and other operational standards by performing on-going work for compliance with contractual provisions Ensures all services listed on the performance requirement summary are performed in a satisfactory manner Completes areas assigned by QC Managers to be inspected (scheduled and unscheduled) and how often inspections will be accomplished Communicates deficiencies to proper persons Maintains Quality Control files, and document results of all inspections Ability to organize and conduct ongoing in-service training Southern Foodservice Management’s Culture We have a philosophy for each and every one on our service team to give something extra.
