Job Duties * Conduct in-process and final inspections to check for defects and determine product conformity to required specifications. * Use the ESP system to electronically process inspections. * Accurately record and report on inspection results. * Authorize the release of conforming parts to the customer at final inspection. * Identify and remove non-conforming product from the manufacturing process.   * Use standard metrology equipment (i.e. calipers, micrometers, and height gauges, etc.). * Read and understand drawings, models and specifications to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards. * Read, interpret, and adhere to quality procedures and technical documents. * Transport product using the appropriate method to the next operation or location. * Complete inspection test plans and generate quality records. * Review and validate production build records and associated paperwork for completion and accuracy. * Ensure proper sign-off(s) and all quality documents are accurate and maintained throughout the manufacturing process. * Support investigations to resolve quality issues identified internally or by the customer. * Work with a team, share expertise, train junior inspectors, and follow instructions to accomplish established goals.   Employment Requirements Education * Completion of secondary school.  Experience * Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Quality Control Inspector or similar. * Experience with International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standards and/or equivalent quality, military, or government standards considered an asset but is not required.   Language * English language ability.
