Job Title: Quality Control Inspector - Welding Location: Scotstoun , Glasgow Salary: Up to £44,000 dependent on experience What you’ll be doing: Conducting all inspection activities in line with the relevant inspection and test plan with applicable standards and specifications. Ensure all test activities are completed and compliant in line with relevant test forms as owned by the Quality Control Team Evaluating inspection results in accordance with applicable specifications, standards and drawing requirements. Maintain all relevant completions management toolsets Compiling and issuing all relevant reports in a timely manner and maintain accurate records in the sited format Responsible for managing non-conformances through applicable processes Implementation of Quality Tools and Techniques across Programme through continuous improvement Supporting Quality Investigation/internal audit / process confirmation within the Naval Ships Programmes Liaison with third party auditors such as Lloyds Register and customer Your skills and experiences: Core trade qualification and time served in Weld discipline. Your responsibility will include conducting inspections, supporting the wider team, and proactively addressing challenges within your discipline.
