Description Position Overview Perform quality testing on products manufactured by organization and incoming products as required to ensure quality standards for the products are met. Primary Functions and Responsibilities Self-organized control of raw materials and finished polyurethane resins Conduct analysis of the samples Compile data and interpret the results using standard procedures to determine compliance with specifications. Document and record data evaluate correctness of results Product certificates of conformance Organization and storage of test samples Block raw materials if properties don't meet specifications Block finished goods if properties don't meet specifications and/or quality standards Perform periodic preventive maintenance and calibration of lab equipment Ensure that supplies and equipment are maintained at an adequate level. Works following all safety policies and procedures in the lab Report inconsistencies, malfunctions and/or variations Performs other duties as assigned Requirements Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to plan, organize and take initiative Good oral and written communication skills Knowledge of basic statistics Neat and organized Chemical knowledge helpful Minimum Qualifications Microsoft office suite Attention to detail Experience working in a lab setting preferred Work Environment Lab setting
