FAST: Respond quickly - EASY: Don’t complicate things - FUN: Be a great day maker Position Summary: The QC Specialist is responsible for overseeing the quality control systems and customer service to ensure that products meet the customer’s satisfaction, all products meet CDI quality standards, and any production issues are resolved in a timely manner. Responsibilities: Track product issues related to production, engineering and sale. Develop root cause analysis, identify solutions to fix problems and follow up. Work with departments and customers to resolve product issues. Investigate and correct customer issues and complaints related to quality. Manage back-charges and credits by developing and implementing procedures and working with customers / vendors to resolve. Supervise quality at the source and build efficiencies in the role. Analyze issues and make changes/improvements within departments to minimize/eliminate repeat issues. Provide training on quality standards and improvements. Ensure documentation and implementation of inspection criteria and procedures. Maintenance of quality processes and documentation. Other duties as assigned Requirements Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent qualification 1-3 years of quality control experience in a manufacturing setting Outstanding attention to detail, ability to multi-task, strong time management skills Ability to understand work orders and job schedules Must have a strong understanding of CDI products, and quality standards. Must be able to effectively read, write and speak the English language Ability to stand or walk for extended amounts of time Ability to frequently bend, twist, grip, squat and lift Outstanding communication ability Excellent organizational and leadership skills
