POSITION OVERVIEW:

Oversee quality assurance activities in our manufacturing operations ensuring our products meet strict internal and external standards, including ISO 9001:2015 and CSA N299.3. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of promoting a culture of continuous improvement across all departments.

YOUR SKILLS AND ABILITIES THAT MAKE YOU STAND OUT:

• A quality leader with 5+years of experience in a Fabrication / Machine Shop or similar manufacturing environment.
• Knowledgeable in ISO 9001:2015 and CSA N299.3 with practical experience.
• GD&T training and experience.
• Degree or diploma in quality or a related field.
• Internal auditing experience (ISO 9001 and/or CSA N299) an asset.
• Someone who’s equally comfortable in meetings and on the production floor who is Hands-on, self-motivated with a detail-focused approach.

• Use gauges (such as calipers and micrometers) to measure products.
• Perform inspections on Raw/In process and finished goods.
• Interpret drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished and in process work.
• Perform in process, final and receiving inspection, with tight tolerances.
• Lead efforts in process control, inspection, and testing procedures to ensure product compliance with specifications and regulations.
• Support and create Quality Core Documentation such as Control Plans/FMEA/PPAP/GR&R.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and improve operational performance.
• Complete all quality documentation and records as required. Conduct internal audits, manage external audits, and coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Improve, implement, and maintain the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 and CSA N299.3 standards.
• Analyze quality data, create reports, and present findings to management.
• Train and support staff in quality practices and QMS compliance.
• Manage supplier quality, including qualification, audits, and performance evaluation.
• Keep measurement equipment operating accurately by following calibration requirements and calling for repairs.
• Assist in the development of test methods and inspection plans, they determine the causes of product defects and reworks.
