Position Summary ACE is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to oversee quality assurance across active construction projects. This role is a hybrid field/office position responsible for reviewing submittals, verifying installation accuracy, and ensuring all work aligns with contract documents and manufacturer requirements. This position is best suited for someone with a strong construction background - such as a former Project Manager or Superintendent - who understands field execution and documentation standards. --- Key Responsibilities · Review and manage project submittals to ensure compliance with plans and specifications · Verify field measurements, elevations, and layout accuracy · Ensure installation adheres to manufacturer requirements and contract standards · Conduct field inspections to confirm work quality and consistency · Identify deficiencies and work with project teams to implement corrective actions · Maintain quality control documentation and reporting · Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and subcontractors · Support project closeout documentation and punch list completion --- Qualifications · 5+ years of experience in commercial construction · Background as a Project Manager, Superintendent, or similar leadership role preferred · Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and submittals · Ability to interpret manufacturer installation requirements · Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills · Comfortable working both in the field and in an office environment --- What We’re Looking For · Strong field presence and credibility with crews and trade partners · Ability to identify issues before they become costly problems · Clear communicator who can document and enforce quality standards · Takes ownership of outcomes and holds teams accountable --- Work Environment This is a hybrid role requiring regular time on active construction sites as well as office-based documentation and coordination.
