JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Manager to oversee our quality assurance processes and ensure compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality management and inspection, with a thorough understanding of FDA, SQF regulations as well as GMP practices. This role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity of our products and ensuring that all quality systems are effectively implemented and monitored.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in a Quality Control or Quality Assurance role within a manufacturing or food production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of quality inspection techniques, FDA regulations, GMP requirements, and overall quality management principles.
  • Experience in developing and implementing quality systems that enhance product integrity and safety.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes to ensure compliance with FDA, SQF, GMP and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct regular quality inspections and audits to assess product quality and adherence to established standards.
  • Analyze data from quality control tests and inspections to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure quality specifications are met to provide food safety standards.
  • Train and mentor staff on quality assurance practices, ensuring a culture of quality throughout the organization.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of quality control activities, including inspection results, corrective actions, and compliance reports.
  • Lead investigations into product non-conformities and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices related to QA/QC and continuously improve the quality management system.
