Description Construction Quality Control Manager - Heavy Civil Burgos Group is currently seeking a Construction Quality Control Manager to work on a Federal heavy civil engineering project at Fort Johnson, LA. The incumbent will ensure that our services meet all necessary client requirements. Travel expenses will be reimbursed. Must with extensive road construction and heavy civil construction experience with federal contracts. Primary Accountabilities: · Continuously review quality control processes, procedures and capabilities in order to sustain the most cost effective and efficient methods for meeting quality requirements. · Make recommendations for improvement as appropriate. · Review client QC requirements and ensure that quality control documentation for the project meets contractual requirements; · Review and approve Contractor and sub-contractor quality control documentation to ensure their planned activities meet contractual requirements. · Understand client needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes. · Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis. · Submit detailed reports to appropriate executives. · Be on the lookout for opportunities for improvement and develop new efficient procedures requirements. Requirements Major Responsibilities: · Proven experience as Construction Quality Control Manager. · Must be conscientious and responsible. · Must have a keen eye for detail with a result-driven approach. · Requires outstanding communication skills, including excellent organizational and leadership skills. · Proficient in MS Office. · In depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards. · A graduate engineer, graduate architect, or a graduate of construction management, with a minimum of five years construction quality control or a minimum of ten years construction experience, of which a minimum of five years’ experience must be in construction quality control on construction. · 1 year experience with RMS. · Must be able to pass a Federal background check.
