Description Oneida Construction Services (OCS) is currently seeking a Quality Control Manager for the NAVFAC Great Lakes Station in Chicago. Key Responsibilities: Quality Planning & Compliance: Develop, maintain, and enforce a project-specific Quality Control Plan. Ensure all work, materials, and installations comply with contract specifications, drawings, building codes, and industry standards. Inspections and Testing: Perform daily site inspections and oversee testing (e.g., roofing, waterproofing, materials). Coordinate third-party testing and inspections. Three-Phase Control System: Implement the preparatory, initial, and follow-up phases to identify potential issues before work begins and ensure continuous quality. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare daily quality control reports, manage submittals, and maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation. Non-Conformance Management: Identify, document, track, and resolve any non-compliant work or materials. Subcontractor Coordination: Review subcontractor quality plans, inspect their work, and ensure they meet standards. Safety and Risk Management: Collaborate with safety teams to identify risks and ensure an injury-free, compliant workplace.
