Description:
As a Quality Control Manager in our Penticton or Kelowna, BC or Whitehorse, YT offices, you’ll bring your experience and expertise in developing, managing, and maintaining a company-wide project quality management program to this newly created role. You’ll establish the program guidelines and requirements, ensure project teams and site teams adhere to safety and quality specifications, and develop a reporting process that will take us from great practices to absolute best practices.
In your day to day, you coach and mentor our project and site teams in our quality control efforts, monitor and evaluate workmanship, and regularly conduct and document quality assurance, environmental and safety inspections to maintain better than acceptable standards. The results - rework and deficiencies are down, and you have the data to support these successes.

We work in some of the most remote, challenging and exciting locations in western and northern Canada, and our goal is to always make a positive impact through community involvement where we work.
We take care of our teams with benefits that include health/dental/vision, RRSP matching, Employee and Family Assistance Programs, an Employee Recognition and Rewards Program, an Annual Bonus and Unlimited Paid Time off after 3 years.
The salary range for this role is $100,000 to $150,000. Pay range variables include level of industry experience on ICI projects with a General Contractor, extensive exposure to risk management planning/mitigation, and success in achieving ISO 9001:2015 certification in a previous role.
We’re looking for a Quality Control Manager with experience…
- Building out existing processes into a complete and comprehensive program
- Creating a reporting system that keeps all stakeholders in the know with detailed quality control and work reports
- Developing plans and action items and consistently monitoring and improving work execution practices and procedures
- Tracking continuous improvement initiatives and communicating results to our executive team
