Description Timberland Lumber Company is looking for an experienced Quality Control and Fork Truck for our Truss Plant in Brazil, IN. This is a night shift position from 4:30 PM to 1:00 AM Overtime as required. Duties/Responsibilities included but not limited to: Operate equipment safely; wearing required PPE Move stacks of trusses to proper locations Checking quality of truss builds Tagging bundles with shipping tags Ensure all trusses are accounted for in stacks Must be able to recognize and troubleshoot errors; work with Maintenance to address/fix errors Work in a fast pace environment Responsible to maintain clean machine and work area Must be able to lift boards properly to avoid injury Requirements High school diploma or GED certificate Experience checking correct lumber packages (1-3 years preferred) Forklift experience Basic math skills Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands Ability to lift up to 50-70 lbs. Attention to detail

Responsibilities

The role involves operating equipment to move and stack trusses while ensuring quality standards are met through inspection and tagging. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean work area and troubleshooting production errors in collaboration with the maintenance team.
