Are you detail-oriented with a passion for quality and food safety? TK Fresh Produce is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our Quality Control team. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in Conduct quality inspections ensuring of incoming and outgoing products to ensure compliance with quality standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

• College diploma or university degree in a relevant field (preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in food quality control or a Produce field.
• Strong knowledge of CFIA, Safe Food for Canadians (SFC) regulations.
• Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, allergen control, and Canadian Organic Regime (COR).
• Excellent using Excel, Word, Outlook, and digital tools for reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and time management.
• Clear communicator, both written and verbal.
• Able to work independently and within a team in a refrigerated warehouse.

• Inspect incoming and outgoing produce for quality, temperature, and compliance with standards.
• Conduct product sampling and identify defective or spoiled items.
• Document inspection results, including photos and written reports.
• Monitor storage areas daily to identify deterioration or potential spoilage.
• Communicate inspection findings to buyers and internal teams.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for CFIA inspectors.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality control documentation.
• Support warehouse and logistics with daily inspection activities.
• Follow and promote quality assurance and food safety procedures.
