  • Status: Regular Full-Time, Non- Exempt
  • Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

SUMMARY

The QC Technician is responsible for performing routine Quality Control inspections and testing of Rudolph instruments, Quartz Control Plates, and specialty products. This role ensures all products meet established quality standards before shipment or release. The QC Technician will document test results, follow established procedures, and escalate any issues to the Quality Control Supervisor and Lead Auditor.
In addition, the QC Technician will actively support Rudolph’s culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, writing and revising QC procedures, and practicing 5S workplace organization principles to maintain a safe, efficient, and high-quality environment. EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate’s degree in electronics, engineering technology, or a related field preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 1–2 years of experience in electronics, instrumentation, or quality inspection preferred.
  • Experience working in a regulated Quality Program or ISO environment is a plus.
  • Strong Excel skills — able to create formulas, pivot tables, and charts to support QC reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities

GENERAL DUTIES

  • Maintain a neat and orderly work area, following safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Assist in maintaining QC notebooks, developing and updating procedures and reference documents.
  • Collaborate with production, service, and engineering teams to resolve QC-related concerns.
