Description
About the Role The Quality Control Specialist partners closely with the Director of Quality and the wider Global Quality team to ensure product quality, compliance, and consistency across manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution operations throughout Europe. This role serves as a first line of defence for product quality, with direct responsibility for on-site inspections, audits, production oversight, sample submission, COA review, and product release activities. The position requires frequent travel within Europe to visit third party manufacturers and logistics partners, attend production runs, and conduct quality audits and inspections. The role also requires flexibility to collaborate with colleagues in other regions and time zones, including participation in meetings and real time quality decision making outside standard local working hours when needed. What You’ll Do: Conduct on-site product inspections at third party warehouses in accordance with internal product specifications and relevant sampling and inspection standards (e.g., ANSI/ASQ Z1.4-2003 (R2018) and MIL-STD-105E). Perform quality audits of manufacturers, warehousing, and distribution centres against Partner.Co quality audit requirements. Attend and oversee production runs at manufacturing facilities across Europe. Review Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for raw materials and finished goods to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with specifications. Release finished products in internal systems upon successful inspection and testing. Submit product samples to approved laboratories for testing and analysis. Develop rework instructions and conduct rework inspections as required. Log, investigate, and document product quality complaints. Collaborate with manufacturers to troubleshoot quality issues, complaints, and process challenges. Maintain accurate and up to date quality control documentation and inspection records. Support the maintenance of Partner.Co’s Food Safety Management System and related standard operating procedures (SOPs). Perform additional duties assigned to support quality operations. What We’re Looking For: Excellent understanding of EU regulatory frameworks and product compliance processes. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple submissions and priorities simultaneously. Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting. Strong communication and collaboration abilities across cross-functional and international teams. Ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory information pragmatically. High ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality. Proficiency in English (written and verbal) is required; knowledge of other European languages is advantageous. Competency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with document management or project tracking systems Experience in the direct selling or multi-level marketing (MLM) industry is an advantage. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Safety, Chemistry, or another relevant biological science. 5 to 7 years of experience in a Quality Control or Quality Assurance role. Experience working with third party manufacturers and external logistics partners. Experience within the nutritional or dietary supplement industry is preferred. Work Arrangement: This is a remote role based in the Netherlands. The role requires regular weekly on-site work at our main Dutch warehousing and distribution location. The role also involves regular travel across Europe to manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution facilities, so easy access to an international airport is important. You must have an adequate home office set up, including a quiet workspace and reliable high-speed internet. You will be expected to work effectively in a remote environment, demonstrating strong time management and self-discipline, and confidence using collaboration tools such as video conferencing and shared documentation. Flexibility to work across time zones is required for meetings, production discussions, and real time quality decisions with global leadership and cross functional teams. Salary Information To be determined based on experience, qualifications, and fair market compensation for the Netherlands.
