JOB SUMMARY

As a Quality Control Specialist at FNBG, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and integrity of loan and deposit data within our lending and operations teams. This position is responsible for reviewing files, monitoring system updates, and verifying that all documentation meets internal policies and regulatory standards. Your strong attention to detail will help protect customer information, minimize risk, and support FNBG’s commitment to excellence and community values.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of quality control and/or loan banking experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to “WOW” customers with exceptional service and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong general computer navigation skills and comfort working across systems.
  • Experience working with Adobe, including creation and maintenance of Adobe Forms.
Responsibilities
  • Perform monthly reviews of loan files to verify compliance with regulatory requirements and bank policies on a monthly basis.
  • Monitor and track exceptions; ensure corrective actions are completed and procedures followed.
  • Document and report quality issues, performance measures, and error trends; present findings and recommendations to the Board Audit Committee and department managers for management review.
  • Conduct appraisal reviews as part of loan quality control to ensure valuations are accurate and compliant with bank and regulatory standards.
  • Review loan and customer deposit data to ensure accuracy and consistency within the bank’s systems.
  • Perform daily review of maintenance reports in DCI to monitor data accuracy and system updates, customer deposit and loans.
  • Verify documentation for system maintenance requests, ensuring changes are properly documented and implemented.
  • Oversee the bank’s compliance with the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA), including regular review of loan files and documentation.
  • Maintain the bank’s forms library, ensuring all forms are current, accurate, approved, and compliant with applicable regulations and internal policies.
  • Maintain and oversee the bank’s Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) file and compliance documentation.
  • Evaluate in-process, closed, canceled, and declined credit applications and related documentation for compliance and accuracy.
  • Manage electronic and physical record retention in accordance with bank policy.
  • Oversee vendor management processes, including performing initial and ongoing due diligence reviews, tracking documentation, and ensuring vendors meet regulatory and contractual requirements.
  • Responsible for safeguarding customer data and ensuring compliance to safety and security protocols
