JOB TITLE: QUALITY CONTROL SPECIALIST / LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

The Opportunity: As Quality Control Specialist / Logistics Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring inventory accuracy and managing the efficient movement of goods domestically and internationally. You will work closely with the Vice President of Operations, vendors, and internal teams to optimize logistics, resolve issues, and improve processes. QUALITY CONTROL RESPONSIBILITIES

· Audit inbound and outbound shipments at the Alamo Fireworks Warehouse
· Monitor inventory discrepancies, diagnose problems, recommend solutions, and request adjustments
· Track, measure, and report audit results to the Management Team
· Provide guidance and operational recommendations to facility staff and managers
· Support Fulfillment, Sales, and Operations teams with inventory discrepancy resolutions
· Train employees in procedures, systems knowledge, and inventory management best practices
· Maintain accurate inventory records before and after selling seasons

LOGISTICS RESPONSIBILITIES

· Arrange, track, and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery from origin to destination
· Oversee supply chain operations from preparation through final delivery
· Optimize transportation routes and logistics strategies for efficiency
· Manage deliveries to all Alamo Fireworks locations
· Communicate with suppliers, vendors, and customers to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction
· Handle shipping documentation and ensure compliance with regulations and internal processes
· Manage logistics costs to stay within budget
Must-haves in a Candidate
· Minimum of 2 years of inventory or quality control experience
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have in a Candidate
· 5 years of inventory or quality control experience
· Proficiency with logistics software

· Job Type: Full-time
· Reports To: Vice President of Operations
· Salary: From $50,000 per year + bonus eligible
· Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday, with seasonal evening and weekend work required (primarily June/July & December/January). To balance this, we offer a 4-day work week for 6 months out of the year.
