POSITION SUMMARY
· Responsible for managing and overseeing daily quality assurance and inspection activities related to the manufacturing of wire and cable harness assemblies
· Ensures compliance with company standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirement
· Leads the final inspection team, performs incoming and in-process inspections, ensures all tools are properly calibrated
· Serves as a critical link between Production, Quality Assurance, and Operations Management
QUALIFICATIONS
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Minimum of 2 to 3 years relevant experience as a Quality Control Supervisor in a manufacturing or electrical industry
· High level of verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of the organization
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for reporting documentations
· Adept knowledge of basic computer skills including Excel and ERP systems

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
·Leadership & Supervision
o Supervise and coordinate activities of the Final Inspection team
o Train inspection staff on quality procedures, documentation, and technical requirements
o Ensure shift and departmental coverage based on production schedules
o Monitor individual and team performance; provide coaching and corrective feedback as needed
· Inspection & Quality Control
o Perform Receiving Inspection on incoming parts and materials using appropriate tools and specifications
o Conduct In-Process Inspections at critical production checkpoints
o Complete First Article Inspections (FAIs) and submit required documentation to QA/Engineering
o Perform or oversee Final Inspection and testing of cable and wire harness assemblies prior to customer release
· Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
· Ensure timely identification, documentation, and resolution of quality issues or non-conformances
· Calibration & Tooling
o Maintain accurate records of calibration for all quality and measurement tools
o Coordinate with internal teams or vendors to ensure compliance with calibration intervals and procedures
o Support tooling audits and ensure traceability
· Communication & Reporting
o Interface directly with Production, Engineering, and QA teams to resolve issues and coordinate quality-related activities
o Escalate critical findings to the Director of Operations and Operations Manager
· Support root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPAs) when needed
· Maintain documentation for inspection results, non-conformances, and process improvements
ADDITIONAL DUTIES
· Support continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and 5S initiatives
· Participate in internal and external audits as needed
· Cross-train on other quality functions or support teams as directed
