If that mission has you hungry in more ways than one, you’ve found the right job posting. Job Overview: The Quality Assurance Associate performs activities associated with quality control of meals. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our meals in accordance with our HACCP and FDA standards. Responsibilities: Conduct and complete Pre-Operational (Pre-Op) inspections to ensure the kitchen is ready for production. Monitor food production processes to ensure chefs adhere to all requirements outlined in the CU Chef agreement. Manage the daily cooking and cooling logs by recording menu components, dish temperatures, cooking times, and product weights to ensure accuracy and compliance. Enforce kitchen safety and hygiene protocols, including proper use of masks, gloves, hairnets, hand-washing, equipment cleaning, and station sanitization. Verify that all food items placed in walk-in coolers are appropriately labeled with Chef Name, Product Name, and Date. Ensure walk-in cooler doors remain closed and maintain a temperature of 41°F or lower. Qualifications: Ability to work in a cold environment (prep area maintained at 35°F). Capability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly without assistance. Strong sense of urgency and ability to work efficiently. Exceptional attention to detail. Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills. High school diploma or equivalent required. Compensation All final pay rates will be determined by candidates experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
