BELLEVILLE INTERNATIONAL – QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team. As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards through precision measuring, data collection, and quality inspections. Your expertise in quality assurance and adherence to industry regulations will be essential in maintaining our commitment to excellence.

QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN JOB DESCRIPTION

Essential Function include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Performs first piece, in process, and final inspection on machined and stamped components using micrometers, gages, calipers, height indicators, and similar inspection equipment.
  • Read and interpret drawings, specifications, work instructions, procedures, and similar documents.
  • Completes labels and documentation as required by customers.
  • Assist customers in resolving quality issues.
  • Identify and report quality issues or findings.

Quality Control Technician Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Quality Control Technician Qualifications

  • Organizational skills involving abilities to handle a variety of different responsibilities at the same time.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret part drawings and specifications.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, which involves direct interaction with other departments.
  • Knowledge and use of various inspection tools such as micrometers and calipers.
  • Ability to understand a large variety of customer labeling and documentation requirements.
  • Ability to use MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and ERP software.

Quality Control Technician Education/Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with strong emphasis in math background.
  • 1 to 3 years background in a manufacturing quality environment preferred.

Quality Control Technician Math Abilities
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, & divide numbers.
Quality Control Technician Language Abilities
Ability to comprehend and communicate technical information in written or spoken formats to employees and customers.
Quality Control Technician Physical Abilities
Able to occasionally lift or carry up to 50 pounds and push up to 50 pounds. The ability to regularly sit, stand, bend, walk, see, hear, speak, reach, use hands and fingers, write and read throughout the day is also a requirement for successful job performance.
