Reports to: Engineering Director & Production Director
Working Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Friday: 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM)
Salary: €38000-€42000
Davenham Switchgear , a Legrand group company who are an industry leader in the delivery of mission critical electrical switchgear assemblies is seeking a Quality Technician to join our growing team and support the Quality Control Manager in maintaining and improving the company’s Quality Management System (QMS). This hands-on role will focus on quality inspections, non-conformance, compliance checks, and documentation management, ensuring that all Davenham products meet our internal, client, and regulatory standards with support from cross functional teams.
This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to contribute to a growing organisation’s quality culture. This role will provide full lifecycle exposure to all aspects of Quality Control with excellent opportunities to develop and demonstrate your skills. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Diploma or Certification in Quality Control, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a quality control or technician role, experience in manufacturing or electrical assembly is an advantage but not necessary
  • Experience working with electrical products or mechanical assembly is highly desirable

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 & 14001, IEC standards, and quality inspection techniques
  • Hands-on experience in coordinating with vendors regarding inspection tools and measuring equipment
  • Understanding of non-conformance reporting (NCR) and root cause analysis
  • Strong documentation and data entry skills (MS Office Suite)
