Description General Summar: The Quality Control Technician is responsible for execution of Quality Control processes specific to Receiving, In Process and Release Inspections. Performs inspection activities with an authority to release components, parts, and devices to Inventory and with authority to reject nonconforming materials/Products. Works from schematics, engineering drawings and Quality procedures. Key Duties/Responsibilities: · Perform inspections, release components, and hold nonconforming materials; escalate issues as needed. · Interpret schematics, drawings, and procedures; operate equipment and conduct tests. · Conduct manufacturing and quality control tasks; provide input on assembly and improvements. · Implement Nonconformance and Rework tasks, support audits with accurate data. · Manage Material Review Board (MRB) materials and Engineering Change Orders. · Follow GMP, Quality, Safety, and Documentation procedures. · Support Quality Assurance; apply problem-solving with 5S, Lean, and metrology tools. · Any other duty assigned by a superior. Requirements Required qualifications: · 1 to 5 years of experience in Quality Control, Manufacturing, or Engineering. · Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications; knowledge of both English and Metric measurement systems. · Preferred experience in 5S, Lean Manufacturing, preventative maintenance, and progressive technical certifications, HVAC. · Strong verbal and written communication skills and flexibility in work hours to meet production demands.
