As a Quality Control Technician on a one-year fixed-term contract for maternity cover, you will perform analysis according to Quality-Safety Environmental procedures for our plant in Caronno Pertusella. Reporting to Quality Head, you will Perform chemical, physical testing and sensory evaluations of raw materials, intermediates and finished products Perform instruments, equipment and quality deviations troubleshooting in laboratory Maintain work a hygienic and safe work environment Provide backup and support to team members as necessary Identify opportunity for improvements in QC and set proactive measure for trouble prevention Store raw data and retained samples Clean the glassware and manage the special waste Your professional profile includes Degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical, Food science or in related discipline Overall work experience of 1 to 3 years in Chemical Lab Operational experience on laboratory system, analytical instruments such as GC, GC-MS, HPLC, UV, TLC and Sensory test Knowledge on chemical substances, hazardous material and Laboratory safety Team working oriented Precision and planning ability Passion and flexibility in working Microsoft Office, independency in PC usage Proficiency in both English and Italian languages At Givaudan, you contribute to delightful taste and scent experiences that touch people’s lives.
